Why oh why?

 Why, oh why? 

A candy-coated misery, a spurious gaiety,
An impermanent vibe, a swift ecstasy,
Something to catch you when you fall,
Something that diverts you from lonesomeness.
Aren't these what love is?

You thought you had it, Mr. Right.
You thought he's the peanut butter to your jelly.
The chaser to your vodka.
The tears that you shed when you're in doldrums.
The warm blanket that wraps over you when you sleep.

Yet reality hurts.
Imagination is but an illusion.
&You're just being delusional.
There's always no end to uncertainty.

Love is but a perturbation, only to cause incredulity among lovebirds.
But it seems as though not one soul can live without it.
Love, you sucks.
I ain't letting myself fall into you so easily anymore.
