It's finalized. :) 
I've been doing
some a great deal of thinking and reading and I've finally decided that I wanna travel for the rest of my life. I'll spend whatever I've earned so far on travelling and then find myself another job to gather sufficient money for the following trips. It may sound impossible but I'll somehow manage.
My ambition is to be a copywriter but if nothing turns out according to plan then I reckon I'll firstly apply for a simple job locally, making sure that I am able to secure enough money for me to reside abroad (gotta resist all temptations from shopping!), and then sluggishly find a job there. After all, I am pursuing a double degree in communication and marketing, thus finding a job
should be plain-sailing.
I am currently a sophomore in college, meaning to say I only have about 3 years to go before I bid farewell to education because I am pretty sure I do not want to ever continue studying. I wanna leave Malaysia as soon as I could cuz I wanna open my eyes to see the big wondrous world ahead of me.
Just talked to a cousin of mine and she somehow motivated and encouraged me to materialize these little dreams of mine. I've never thought of actually travelling, cuz just picturing myself standing at the very edge of the Enchanted Well in the Chapada Diamantina National Park in Brazil or riding in a boat through the Palawan's Subterranean River in the Philippines could already draw much contentment and happiness to my heart. But being able to accomplish these dreams... brings jubilation to a whole new level and gives my life its meaning. Can't wait for this brand new chapter of my life to begin!
I've decided to start off with all the local islands in Malaysia, because I am a student and I generate zero income so traveling outside the country is out of the question right now. I've been to many islands when I was little but it is not like I can remember anything from them at all. Hence, these are the places that I wanna go in the year 2011 - Pulau Sibu, Pulau Redang, Pulau Pangkor, Pulau Dayang, Pulau Tiga, Pulau Tioman. Been to Pulau Pangkor and Tioman before but this time around, I wanna appreciate every single facet of nature that I'll be seeing there.
Pulau Langkawi is obviously a must because my boyfriend &chums are truly, deeply and madly in love with the dirt-cheap beers and chocolate (and practically everything else there) and hence we've decided to make it a monthly trip (if God allows :p). I also have this
thing for Genting.. probably because of the cool weather and being able to put on my fur coat, so I will definitely go there again soon. Another place that I must visit, one way or another, is Bukit Tinggi. The pizza I've had during one of my last two trips there was AWESOMEEEEEEE.
Can't wait for the 11th of February! ;)
